On a quiet Friday afternoon in Bangkok, on the way home, I decided to drop by Poseidon, a well-known bath & massage place on Ratchadapisek Road….walked up to the first floor and into the lounge. I don’t want to burst your bubble - but I think you will find that Poseidon, like most soapy massage places, has a no refusal policy (the girl has to go with whomever she is chosen by). beamer - from my numerous experiences I do not think that is entirely true. I have been to a few places where the girl flat out does not go with farang. Only asian. In fact the papasan then preceded to point out the other 2 girls at the same place who also did not. So I don’t think that is a big deal. I like Thailand given the girls can say no and should whenever they damn well please.

Like I said - most. Not all. Yes some places the girl gets to choose (I live on Ratchada so I am no soapy virgin either) however even in those situations if the girl does decline enough customers then the mamasan/papasan is eventually going to run her off. The papasan’s/mamasan’s tend not to be the most caring of people towards their girls, they are there to make money and make sure quotas are met.
