Back to the Grind part 2 (Titanium and researching the Buriram connection) by Phoenix

Now my second night alone is over and the dirty has finally been done with a nice BJ from a hot Buriam TG I met in the Spice Club. But first to Titanium on Sukhumvit Soi 22…

After walking my legs off to get there from Soi 4 I spent the next three hours till exactly midnight in that place. What’s good about Titanium? They have an all girls band that plays good music with great voices. They mainly play Western songs from female singers or band – which somehow makes sense. They have an ice bar upstairs with about minus 7 degrees Celsius where you can have vodka shots of all tastes. But you don’t want to stay there longer than the time it takes to drink that that shot either. The service girls were all quite beautiful with feminine long dresses over their trowsers, nice to watch. The band starts playing at 9.30 pm.for 45 minutes, then comes 45 minutes of good club sound from the DJ and than another 45 minutes of live music. No dance floor and no dancing going on but very nice to listen to the band. I chatted with a service girl from Buriram all evening. Ok, that was the good part, what’s the downside? One lady drink costs 200 Baht. You can touch the girls but they are not allowed by the management to hug or even kiss you. My girl told me she would loosen up after drinking more and would be hot in bed. Sounded more like an attempt to get as much lady drinks for herself as possible. And to get a girl out of the Titanium the barfine is an incredible 2000 Baht. In the very begining my girl offered me to make write down suggestions to the band, but during their two sets none was played. They seemed to stick to their program all the time. So if you go to Titatinum together with a girl or friends its ok for a nice evening. But for a pull or some nice physical attention it’s not the place you want to visit. At midnight I left with 2500 Baht less in my wallet and headed for cowboy.

Afterskool. The bad boy corner was very busy. Once there were two guys receiving a BJ at the same time sitting side by side on two stools. Then on girl even sat on one of the guy’s cock and he started f***ing her like that but was finished with a hand job from another girl. I also never joined the corner myself but it’s great to watch.

On Cowboy I then ended up in Five Star Go-Go again. They opened till 3 a.m and besides the Rock Music the band also later on played Thai songs which caused the girls to really enjoy themselves with lot’s of laughing and dancing – not the usual two step shuffle but real dancing.. I had a nice girl from Buriram sitting on my lap later on. She had a great face and lips but her body wasn’t that special so I didn’t take her offer to barfine her. If you ever end up late on Cowboy, you might want to try out Five Star for some partying.

On the night went with the routine visit to Spice Club. This time I wasn’t as drunk as the night before so I managed to watch the crowd with a clearer mind. They have one really cute female DJ. There were many younger Farang guys posing for the girls and obviously thinking the girls like them because they are so handsome. I tried to chat up two girls but soon gave up. They had this hi-so attitude that really pisses me off. I want nice, natural and approachable girls that don’t give me any bs. So Spice Club was the final destination. I pulled a Buriram FL and at noon the flesh had received it’s share of attention.

We later had lunch at Gulliver’s where she said she hangs out a lot. She knew of about all hotels in the area the extra room charges for an extra guest and was complaining the often charged 1000 Baht would leave her off with less money for herself in the end. Since I myself rarely spend a night alone when in Thailand I always book my hotel room for two persons and don’t have to deal with the reception in the early morning hours and it also simply saves money..

On to Phuket tomorrow. I just hope I could give some new info and insights for some readers just like this blog has given me since I started reading it. I was even at the Duke around 6 pm. last evening, but neither smitty nor pmmp were there. Hope to catch up with you guys one day just to say hello. The Cheeseburger was great though!

Having previously been one of Titaniums best customers I can give you a few hints:

Get to know a few of the girls by going early for a couple of drinks when its empty. Then head back there around 11:30 -12:00 pm on a weekday.
The clientel on weekdays is older guys (soi 33 style) looking for hostess clubs, most of them have headed home by that time and the girls are good and liquored up, made their money from ladies drinks and are out to party.

Finshed off many a night there (when most places closed at 2am). Quite a few then head to Spice (Spice/Spicey? Under the Ambassador in Soi 11)

Mind you I know almost none of the girls now as most have switched out after Titanium was bought out.

Oh and 2500B, you got out cheap. I’ve seen many bills in 5 figures. But by going late for a shorter period of time you aren’t going to haemorrhage money quite as quickly.

    Enjoy.

ph - nice write up. hope we get some good info out of u for phukett. I used to like Titanium but I was not sure why. Maybe I thought the girls were different and I enjoyed the drinks but I get tired if the band. Too loud I think. now though I can’t see why anyone would go there. I don’t mind taking a few people by for a few of the shots but we are usually in and out. sometimes a crawl from soi 33 then 22 and then cowboy. I think the prices for the drinks and the lady drinks are outrageous though especially for the 22 area. The girls think they are something different due to the dresses and prices but to me they have that some 33 attitude. The head to overhead ratio is to high given they are still issan girls but not in a gogo bar.

Spice has been busy but I am not liking it much to be honest. I agree with u on the attitude for the girls. I think spicy is better for pulling.

I hit renovate on ratchada last night after the resort. will write it all up, good stuff!

many times we are at duke during the day but some nights as well. been busy with p4 and looking for mango 2.

I live close to Titanium and I walk by it frequently. Every time I have looked inside in the last two months it’s been dead empty and I haven’t had a drink there in six months or more. I actually like this bar, but it’s very expensive. It certainly seems out of place on Soi 22.

Sounds like Phoenix has an eye for Burriram girls, but then, doesn’t everyone?!

Indeed Werewolf. Even the word ‘Buriram’ now has a splendid whiff of archetypal up country, comedy and energetic little spinners about it.

I agree with Werewolf, i used to live on 22 for a while and a place like this just doesnt fit the vibe as its mainly cheap n cheerful pool bars round there.

Although the Imperial Queens Park Hotel cater to a lot of japs, and there are a number of ‘japanese’ bars round there so i guessw this place is aimed at them.

I just have an issue with how these bars can justify putting these girls in a 300baht ‘ballgown’ and tripling there prices. Like putting a football hooligan in a smoking jacket.

p - I don’t think this place caters to the japanese at all given they don’t really like loud music and vodka shots. The original owner thought a high-end beer bar concept with the vodka room was going to take off. it never did. neither has his vodka bar in pattaya.

@Smit is that V20 in Pattaya?
I had ONE drink in there in July, but i didnt know they were the same owner. Stupid really as its hard to believe that more then 1 person could share the same bad idea.

Every time i’ve walked past this place i was shocked at how dead it was in there
I think if your going for a ‘high end bar’ you should put it in a high end area, which soi 22 isnt

I have in Thaitanium a couple of times and never knew you could barfine the girls. Was a bit surprised I guess I should know better. I didn’t like the cold room as I couldn’t cool down again when I walked out and drenched my shirt in sweat. Not how I like to go out.

I also prefer to take my vodka out of the freezer instead of going inside the freezer to drink it. When I was there the Tunnel was also far from crowded. Seems I can agree with Werewolf that it is not going well.
