Recently I saw a couple of independent ladies from the Beer Garden that I’d last seen some months ago. I noted that both of them had significantly worse complexions on their faces than before. Spots and zits like teenagers.

It could be due to hormones or too much som tam, but someone told me that bad skin is a sign the girl is taking drugs. Does anyone know anything about this?

Drugs, AIDS, allergies to makeup, going off contraceptives, taking too many jizz-facials, or dirty pillows are 6 possible answers.

There are two girls in particular that I have known for a couple of years who have gone from being quite pretty to having terrible skin. It’s troubling to see. You know that they have money, and if they could fix it with special soap and a factial treatment they would, so it must be something out of their control ~ illness or drug dependency seem to be good guesses.

I can’t remember but I thought one of the things they smoke actually does cause Acne but I am not sure.

I do know that many just live an unhealthy lifestyle. One past friend of mine who was able to go to a dermatologist who suggested some stuff for her face cleaning procedures and over time her face totally cleared up. She was like a new women.

Diet is key to healthy skin. Too much boozing is bad. And drugs like speed reduce appetite greatly!

Smoke, either from their own cigaretts or second hand. Monthly cycle. Sweat and thick make up won’t help. General ignorance on how to look after yourself - blind leading the blind. Proper cleansing would fix most of it, and medical solutions are available for people with real problems.

Oh… and some of them have acne like teenagers because they are teenagers…

DR in HK - was waiting for someone to say it.

but that is the preferred cheap party drug and heavy users of it tend to get some pretty bad skin over time.

I agree with the above, it could well eb amphetimines. Ice, yaba, shabu, diet pills, whatever. Acne is one major indicator, along with the obvious factors such as weight loss and hollow cheeks.

Bad skin is an ever-increasing problem for Thai girls. You never found a girl with pimples a few years back, but the use of bad make-up combined with Western junk food seem to be the major causes. Conclusion: go natural and stick to som tam!

My 28 year old (not a teenie-bopper) TGF got a big zit every month when she started her period. And she didn’t do yaba or anything. So I’m guessing hormones. Sometimes in the soi 7 biergarten I have to leave because the smell of estrogen is so heavy.
The thing that always throws me though is when they have the girl with the most pimples working in the cosmetics section at Robinson’s department store. “Hey, that must be a good product! Just look at her complexion!”

amphetimines. Ice, yaba, shabu, diet pills, …………surely all the same basically………..Speed……………..The girls use ice to help them do the sex thing better….they disapear into the bathroom for a quick smoke and it helps make them feel horney…

Oh and I do not believe there is any correalation between drugs and bad complexions. My mates and i have been doing most drugs for the last 40 years and our complexions are not zitty……….However, quite a few are dead prematurely and their skin is obviously fucked..

wpd - definitely helps. Makes horny and increases feelings. You won’t sleep after the deed though, be sure she’s staying long time
