Thanks to Ed of Pattaya Rag for another update.
Pattaya Walking Tour No 1.
When you need a change from Walking Street, this walking tour of Pattaya will introduce you to some quality bars and hopefully, some quality women. If it doesn’t, you are at least guaranteed a ‘happy ending’. Read on.
The tour starts in the Honey Pot, Soi 2 around 8.30pm when the bar is fully staffed but has no customers/competition. This bar has some quality coyotes, air conditioning and little or no hip-hop. Yeaaaaaah. The DJ plays a bit to appease the girls but the Pinoy band plays mostly 1970 - 90s rock/pop. The bar is enforcing the no-smoking ban and Heineken costs Bt105 a bottle. If nothing takes your fancy in Honey Pot then it’s time to move on when the bar starts filling up with customers around 9.30pm.
Next door to Honey Pot is Classroom Go Go and this is an optional stop on the tour. Optional because it’s never been one of my favourite go-go’s but it does have the distinction of employing two of the finest natural racks you’ll see in Pattaya. They were both in the shop window last night but it’s always a question of timing and luck when you’re trying to track down top racks. Classroom comes with the now standard go-go fixture of a Jacuzzi but from what I saw it’s not a major selling point for the bar. Heineken costs Bt95 a bottle and smoking was allowed.
After Honey Pot/Classroom head back up to 2nd Road and turn right towards Soi 3. Cross Soi 3 and immediately on your right are a group of bars on a raised deck. Head up the stairs and you have the option of drinking in any bar that takes your fancy but our tour objective is the last bar on the deck, the Atlantic Bar.
Over my years in Pattaya, Atlantic Bar has always been one of the top off Walking Street bars in Pattaya and many of the stars around town started their Pattaya lives in the Atlantic. The quality of it’s girls has slipped a little of late but I’m sure it won’t be long before it builds back up it’s stable of stunners. That said, Vee would stop any male in his tracks. To the best of my knowledge it was the first bar to have ’service only’ girls and although some punters complain that the Atlantic girls are ’stand-offish’ I reckon a bit of a chase makes the conquest all the more enjoyable. The bar comes with a couple of pool tables, shows major sporting events on a big screen projector, with commentary, and is still a bar worth of a couple of beers of your time. Heineken Bt75 and smoking allowed
If you’re feeling peckish, Big Al’s under the Atlantic Bar serves decent grub and you can eat it in the bar if you wish.
When you’ve had enough of the Atlantic head back out on to 2nd Road, turn right and keep walking until you cross Soi 4 and get to the U Too Bar (opposite the Alcazar car park). You will be accosted along the way and it is up to you if you want fit in an optional beer along the way to our tour destination of U Too Bar. This bar is probably the No 1 off Walking Street bar of the moment. It’s main bar fronts on the street and hides the true size of the bar once you get inside. It has 6 pool tables, a large screen projector for sports events, a large number of desirable ladies, plenty of comfy seats and excellent service. This really is a quality bar and it’s one I find hard to leave once I get settled in.
Note: The Atlantic Bar and U Too Bar are also popular late night venues when other bars are closing down. Many wander back with rented ’tilac’ for a nightcap or two after 2.00am. Honey Pot closes at 3.00am.
If you are still in the mood for more, then head out of U Too Bar, turn right and walk down to Soi 6. Everybody scores on Soi 6 so it’s a ‘happy ending’ to the tour. It’s a soi for a quick fix but not necessarily for lookers. Yes, they exist but you have to search them out. Red Point at the Beach Road end would be a good place to start. I’m not doing Soi 6 in detail here partly because it would fill a post of it’s own and partly because I suspect the readers of The FARANG Speaks 2 Much are a better sort than my regular readers at Pattaya Rag. I don’t want to put them off their tuna sandwiches with tales of depravity on Soi 6…….
editor’s note: Actually we are pretty big fans of Soi Sex as we call it.
I know I’ve stuck Soi 6 on the end of the tour but for me it’s better in the afternoons than evenings. Why? One lady I was chatting to recently asked me if I intended to take her upstairs for ST. “No”, says I, “I’m too tired”. “Me too”, she replies, “I’ve had 8 customers already today”. Information overload, cannot compute……
Soi 6 is open from 1.00pm to 1.00am each day and rumour has it that room and company for a couple of hours will set you back around Bt800 - Bt1,000. This map should help you get your bearings on the soi.
Enjoy the walk.
Everyone loves soi 6
Despite what other people say, there are a few stunners, and quite a few solid 7/10ers to be found if you choose the right bars. Although soi6 is the only place i have seen a 200lbs thai hooker before
I found Redpoint was the best for quality. before i could take a sip from my 60baht chang beer i had an 8/10er with hooters bigger then my head (and trust i have a big melon) grinding my lap and licking my neck. 300baht for the room, and 500baht for her later i was up to my nuts in guts - albeit on fluffy bunny and squirrel bed-sheets.
Went back the next day and she wanted just 300baht for her troubles.
EVery1 should visit soi6 at some point in there life. its up there with soapies in my book

Pattaya is largely racist towards brown skinned people. If you are Indian you will not be allowed into most of the bars. U TOO Bar and many others will not accept you. If Indians have any shame avoid pattaya go to phnom penh or siem reap where you will be traeted properly. Telll your tour companies to avoid Pattaya altogther.

Oh no… I think I’ve just realised that I might be ‘racist’ towards Indian fellows too? I just want to slap the Tailor touts and the ‘lucky man’ man. I wish they would fook off to phnom penh also.

Yes, most girls will not go with Indians, the reason is: MAI ABNAAM!!!

Mike, don’t be racist. Unlike most white people I know, Indians at least wash their hands after going for a pee.
