p - none of it makes sense and we just be caught up in an over glitch but better to be safe than sorry

if I think of any of the possible dings against us I can point to many other sites who have pushed it much further so the rationale behind has little sense. TIT though so hard to say.

Maybe it is our amazing way we combine it all?

mike - of course it is all related. the question is are sites getting caught up in it over a glitch or are they being blocked? tough to say

Personally I think it was a glitch. Why? I have an email account. I could log into the HOME PAGE of my email provider, but when I tried to check my email it was blocked. Is this strange? Yeah… I’ve only ever sent and received two emails on this address!

Also, the blocking lasted only a few hours and then was lifted.

I think they tried to set up the blocking and fucked up. They reversed field, but you will probably find yourselves blocked again soon when they figure out what the ‘bugs’ were.

if you want me to test anything from over here, let me know…i see your old server is doing a redirect to the new host.

did you ask your ISP if they know anything.

ssb/ pmmp: Just to be safe, if you haven’t already, I would remove ever single reference to LM, and any word in ever post that might say the word (”K**G”) and every possible synonym. I know it’s a bit much but you can never be too safe. I am sure using the coach references are ok, but you know how it is. I always thought you were a bit paranoid. Not anymore.
I also notice that a lot of Thai porn sites (purely for educational purposes)were blocked, so if there are any links to these as well, I would remove them.
My guess is that a search was done, and your website came up on it, and therefore it was blocked, maybe mistakenly.
Also at the same time your site was blocked, so was YouTube, now it is not, so some brilliant, overly paid and incompetent internet guru flipped the wrong switch more likely than anything else. Maybe it was just an accident, but I guess we should be more careful anyways. Because of the forward, I cannot tell if the old domain is now working or not. Oh well just another day in the never boring LOS

i - it is NOT blocked but they do block particular videos from time to time.

ip - i think it is mostly a glitch but it is a sign of what is possible or what could come.

Some thief has probably just dug up the main cable and sold it to the recyclers.

I don’t think this is an issue of the Thai government blocking content. Rather, the sites themselves block downloads via Thailand ISPs. One of the frustrating things that often happens to me is that I’ll want to download a music video — often to introduce some old musician to my TG du jour — and the video is available from some website but when I try to view it I get a message saying that it cannot be downloaded in Thailand.

I believe it is intended as a way to make piracy more difficult, or as simple retribution for the high level of piracy that exists here.
