It’s December folks. I had a nice lunch today with a friend and he said we should get a large carafe of white wine. Drinking during the day puts me out of commission so of course I balked, but he said lighten up it is December. Time for the holidays. Time to party. I forget with the weather what time of the year it is. It is December. It is time to party. So to help you get ready for it here is the parties we will be having at the Mango. My suggestion is to head to the hospital and get them to snip a piece of your liver out. Freeze it. Re-grow it in January and have them put it back in. Respect.
- Dec 25. Christmas. We will have a Christmas Dinner. Stay tuned for time, price and menu. it will be good, bigger than the Thanksgiving spread and it will be fun.
- Dec 30. The Ghost is having his birthday party at the Mango. From 7pm till we run out of 2 kegs of Tiger beer - there will be free beer. Ghost’s favorite burger, the California Burger will be 165 baht with fries while there is still free beer.
- Dec 31. New Year’s Eve. Happy Hour all night. Some free snacks, some free shots and lots of free trash talk from SSB as he gets really drunk. Please accept my apologies now for anything I might say that could possibly offend.

I have been to the Mango bar twice this year on both visits there have been festivities which included either cheap drinks or free food ,the first time was in July/August I think, the second was for Halloween, fearing a glassing from Daywalker or a Tar and feathering from the regulars for being a freeloader I stayed well away from the free Buff. had 1 beer and left even though one ghoulishly attired lady who introduced herself as Dracoola, offered to bite me (which I,m sure had I accepted ,would have been very resonably priced).
Could you please post a calendar of the times when your drinks are most expensive and theres no free food so I can stay a bit longer.
