We don’t do Halloween in Australia, apart from the toffs with nothing better to do than celebrate anything for something to do. Obviously it is a good time in the USA. Many years ago had a girlfiend from Oregon for 4 years …. long enough… and had to eat f****** pumkin pie which smelt and tasted worse than her pie.
We used to celebrate Guy Faulkes for trying to burn down the English Parliarment. What a good idea. That was great until 20 years ago when they banned fireworks.

However on the positive side, these were the best pictures we have seen from the Mango Bar celebrations so far. Looked like great fun and the girls looked great and were enjoying themselves. Can’t wait to celebrate New Year’s at the Mango. Anything planned??

@3amigos: You can check the pics from previous years to get an idea of what we typically do. It’s a great night as bars can stay open all night so some crazy partying. Saw one of the amigos in last night btw.

I gotta say, the girls were in good form. I unfortunately was not. I woke up at 5 a.m., had a long work day, and after arriving at the Mango drank soda water. I got tired, left early (during the pissing-down rain storm) and was in bed catching up on my zzz’s by 11:30.

The party, however, survived my dismal performance, and (as stated already) the girls were in fine form. My only complaint about the photos is that there should be more of them.

Good party! I especially appreciated the guy from the kitchen stopping on his way out front delivering FRESH HOT burgers to us at the tables. Great service!

I can’t believe that they didn’t get any photos of the white girl in the bar. She was there for hours; hot bodied and good natured.

BTW, after complaining in one post today about the FLB bar putting up a webcam, isn’t it slightly hypocritical to put up photos of so many of the degenerates at the party? Not that I’ve got anything to hide….

@WW: Good point. One or two people have asked me to remove photos before and I always do. It’s a tough call but many people like the photos so we keep doing it. Perhaps we will limit the Punter shots in the future though.

pmmp: for my part I’m just poking a little fun. I like the photos, and I’m always THRILLED when I make it into one (awake or asleep). I notice, however, that I never seem to be featured. I think you’re photographer discriminates against people who don’t smile and have an obviously good time…. ;)

You know what I dressed up as for Halloween - a tourist to Bkk - which means I had a smile on my face, I was happy, and I had a Thai gal on my arm (and in my pants later - oh, was that out loud). Good pics - looked like fun.

Another party I missed! Looks like everyone had a great time. Mind you, if you can’t have a great time in Bangkok or the Mango, you may as well be dead! C ya on the beach.

It was a great night. In the future I must stop drinking before midnight. I turned into a pumpkin, and couldn’t find Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater. Then again, maybe that’s a good thing. Is there a Mary Mary Pumpkin eater? 3Amigos seems to know what its all about.

    Wolfy, look a little closer.

As for the web cam issue and related matters, hmmm. If I was in the photos I might have to ask to be taken down. With a head like mine…what can a say.

Wrecks: I re-read my comment, and apologize for my lack of clarity. By “featured” I meant the one in the middle of the frame… the focus of the camera’s attention. The raison d’etre of the photo as it were.

Once again, my attempt to bring a smile to myself and others by poking fun at myself has fallen in a damp hole. Wait… was that just a feeling or did that really happen? D’oh!

volfgaang, you must stop poking yourself. Let another do it for you. I wish I understood arabic, cos then I’d know what a raison d’etre is. Is it like a lump of bread with dried fruit in it?

And your attempt did not fall in a damp hole, although I understand your goodself made an exploration of the bkk septic system. As in Paris, maybe you could start up eco tours of the “raw” areas of Bkk.

ww - my post was asking people what they felt about the FLB cam. that was all. people tend to know we take pics and u see pmmp with the camera. Many people pose for the camera. slightly different than webcam that many may not even know is there or broadcasting live on the net with no way to delete. Was not making a comparison nor do I think they are comparable. We never post shots of people who do not want to be seen and we removes any shots if people ask.

Is that Kenny sat at the bar in a couple of the photos? Can’t see if he’s wearing slacks or not.

ssB: sorry to have sounded like I took it seriously… all intended to be a bit of fun. Next time I’ll insert a smiley face.

WW - I recognised you almost instantly in one of them - obviously I had to do a double take because in that photo you were wide awake and engaged in conversation.
