As for Patpong, stay away from Queens Castle 3. A lady friend from Vietnam wanted to see the show so I took her to QC3 where I have been before with no problems. I ordered a beer and she a Coke. After watching the show for about 20 minutes the bill was brought to me (without asking) and was for 2200 baht. 400 for drinks (I expected to be charged for drinks but 200 for a Coke?), 800 for 2 lady drinks that I never agreed to and 1000 for the 'show fee' despite the touts outside guaranteeing there was no cover charge. Considering the company I was with, I didn't want any trouble and ended up paying the show fee (OK, I'm a wimp) but not the lady drinks. Needless to say I will never, ever go back to any bar in Patpong. Don't they know they are cutting their own throats or can't they think beyond today? Their loss... Smitty, only telling it the way it was told to me…
