Popped into Cowboy the last few nights. With the coordinated happy hour, the lack of motorcycles every where and the general good vibe - it is basically kicking Nana’s ass. I don’t think this is a good thing because competition is healthy but right now Nana is on its back with Cowboy supplying a UFC like submission hold. I really don’t see anything turning this around for the time being. The main reason I was out was to organize a 3some which as I have discussed many times here is not the simplest thing to do but of course even the mission itself is plenty of fun.
Places I visited on Cowboy:
Baccara, Shark Bar, Tilac, and Suzie Wong
Looks like Japanese Sumo hazing is getting out of hand.
3somes. Never really a simple thing but when your girl likes girls who am I to deny her? Ultimately I would like 2 full-time girlfriends. Yes - I want to be Hugh. Deal. This is Thailand and I think it is possible. Problem is making it happen. My girl has tried to source some Uni talent but they don’t want something full-time even though they have been game for fooling around. From time to time though my girl wants to party and she wants to play around with another hottie. I usually have to stand back for a bit while they investigate every nook and cranny but once they have exhausted themselves I am usually free to have at the other girl. Works for me.
When this happens we usually head to Cowboy. We tend to start at the bars with known hotties like say a Shark or Baccara but so far it has been impossible to pull for purposes of a 3some. Most of our luck has come from Sheba’s and Suzie Wong’s. The real hot girls at the good clubs have so many options that they turn down the 3some every time. In fact one girl from Shark would rather sit with no ladydrinks than accept one from us because she was not into it. Which is fine. Thing I love about the Thailand go-go scene is the girls have a choice and typically exercise it.
My girl is pretty choosy about the whole process. She would rather go without than have a bad pull or a girl who was not really into it. She likes the younger less experienced girls, she does not like a lot of tattoos and she is happy to teach girls the ropes. She reckons a clumsy but interested girl makes for better sex anyway. Hell - all sounds great to me.
This time in Suzie we saw a girl we had not seen before. She was from Surin and had only been in the go-go for a month. She used to work construction for K-Tech but a co-worker told her that she was too gorgeous and could make more money in the go-go. It so happens the co-worker’s sister worked in a go-go and convinced this girl to dive in. She is 22, tall, nice body and with a pretty standard Isaan face. Her hands were still a bit rough but nothing some lotion won’t fix. She stated right away that she was not really into girls but would love to go out and party and see how it went. We took her to the Boss club, everyone got buzzed and we ended up at home in a bundle of flesh. Living the dream.
Speaking of Boss. Boss used to be the king of the after-hours scene. It was grotty, busy and consistent. Then Spicy opened, by the same owner, and Boss was marginalized. Add in Spice and Tunnel and the Boss was dead. So they closed down and re-opened in a new spot. The place is much better now but the vibe is all but gone. Too many Khao San road assholes, a lot of middle eastern guys and very few ladies. It could have been an off night but with the door charge at 300 versus Spice at 200 - I think the Boss will never get back its former glory. The only cool thing about the Boss is the layout and the Coyote dancers. The dancers are all pretty cute and there is always some eye candy. You can buy them ladydrinks for 250 baht and hang out with them but they seem impossible to pull. Phone numbers were collected though.
So while at the Boss I happened to chat with some Dutch guys who were marveling at my posse of 2 girls and the lingering coyote girl. I told them I was a professional and they should just realize they will never achieve this on a short stay when they refer to massage parlors as whorehouses. I think guys from Amsterdam get mixed up here since the scene is similar but yet so different. I enjoyed the coffee shops in Amsterdam but the sex scene looks pretty lame to me. Point is they seem to think Bangkok girls are like Amsterdam girls and that won’t work here. Hence they were drunk, alone and wondering if the Boss club is the best Bkk has to offer. Of course it is not but I would rather they did not know better.
The new Boss has a balcony and these asses were on the balcony and I was hanging with a group below the balcony. For some reason we kept getting water on our heads and I finally realized they were dripping it down from an ice bucket thinking they were being funny. I politely went up and asked the to knock it off but they decided to act tough since there were 4 of them and one of me. I was with 3 girls so I did not have much backup. So I went back down to the floor manager and told him that I was worried about his club having problems with the police because the 4 Dutch guy upstairs seemed to be dealing drugs in the bathroom and I thought I should let him know. He thanked me profusely and yanked all their sorry asses outside before they could finish their booze. When in Rome folks.
I feel sorry for some English guys here on holiday with their English birds. A friend of a friend had his mate in town with his girlfriend. She kept going on and on about seeing some form 0f a pussy show in Patpong. Based on my guide suggestion they went to Queen’s Castle 1. She found it interesting and wanted to see more dirty places where Thai girls do things with their notty bits. What really killed me is she asked my friend, who has a Thai girlfriend, if all the Thai girls knew how to do things like that. I was floored. Did she really think this was such a neat thing - some popular aspect of Bangkok. My only retort - are all English girls overweight, loud and unattractive? From where I sit most seem to be. The real world must suck.
Anyway. Wingmen are your friends, beware of a BTT with a fortuneteller, Bargirl Proxies, and exploration continues.
Unless there are TWO girls from Isaan at Suzie’s who used to work construction then I know who you mean. A quick look at my diary, however, says that I opened her legs on the 23rd of October 2007, so maybe its not the same girl.

no race bashing - I am a 1/4 french but I admit it reluctantly.
I have seen the Dutch get messed up here a few times because they seem to think bkk is amsterdam but I think the cities handle the sex biz so much differently. Anyway - I was not trying to be an ass but I think they deserved it. One of the security guards offered to help me to a cab anyway so I was not too worried.
j - the only thing one misses in SF is the weather, the motorcycle riding and good breakfast. The rest u can have. ML seems to have fallen off the planet these days. Too busy with his coyote girls.

In answer to your question… yes, all English women are fat, loud and unattractive. If you had a list of desirable qualities to be found in a woman & then scored females around the world from 1 to 10 according to this list, English women would barley scrape 3 on each quality. They truly lack in just about every department you can imagine. Consequently they are less desirable than any other woman on the planet. The incredible thing is their unattractiveness is only matched by their incomprehensible arrogance so they are yet realise it.

Finally going to check out Tunnel this evening..having been in BKK more than 10 times over the past 4 months, I have yet to go or every time I have attempted to go..I’ve been told it is closed.

Any other suggestions in terms of RCA/Thermae?? I dont want to hit the gogo scene again…so, I’m looking for new places to venture with good music, good talent (freelance and local) and not too many Khao San Rd/Sandal-wearing farang..

basically if u want to lower the freelancer ratio then i would give all the after hours places a miss. if u want to avoid the sandal wearers then avoid KS road. if u want to avoid pretentious knob-jockies then i would avoid places like Bed etc. this pretty much leaves (in terms of central well known places) RCA. i actually think its pretty good, good mix of normal thais, and a small amount of farang. give Slims a go for example, its at the end near rama 9.

RCA is cool, with a young crowd and a few ferangs. You do get quite a few knobhead ferangs that read about RCA online or in a lonely planet book and still thinks its a piece of piss to pick up ass, and end up acting like cocks.

Thanks for the suggestions as I did follow a few of them..spent Saturday in Ratchada at H’wood and some surronding clubs. Excellent time..disco was heaving and was a great time. Tables and tables of thai girls just drinking and generally having a good time..and they are quite friendly. Good distraction from the lower suk and Cowboy. There were a few farang there, but not too many..few enough to still keep things interesting. All in all, a pretty nice diversion on a Saturday night.
And, DaTou..oh yes, WPD was in fine form. He did attempt the “I’m only drinking soda water” spiel…for about 30 minutes..then, it was the usual MC Hammered WPD we all know and love. Although, he SMS upon me leaving was..”Guy, had a great time, but I am fucking exhausted”. Always leave them wanting more…

Also, went to both Boss(y) and Lucky VII. I was somewhat surprised as the reviews of Lucky have been pretty good. However, the club was sausage-heavy with them being predominantly bald, Euros listening to trance techno. The talent in the place was non-existant, even at the wee hours on a Friday night.
On the other hand, Boss(y) was pumping on a Thursday at 1:00am and went till about 3:00am. Lots and lots of talent..and agressive talent at that. Great music, everyone was dancing..just an all-around good vibe in general.
