Hola folks. Lots going on right now. Had a nice date the other night with some coyote girls. Have to write that one up soon since I was taken to a part of town I have never seen, hit some interesting bars and then closed the night at Bali on Ratchada. Quite the Thai scene. Speaking of coyote girls I got this text message from Forte highlighting the activities for Chinese New Year:

Hell - speaking of Chinese New Year I noticed all the decorations going up today and the various dragon shows going on. I have a suggestion for next year’s Chinese New Year shopping mall exhibits. Picture a passenger train car, lots of fake snow and ice, starving people fighting with knives over grains of rice and the whole area swathed in raw sewage.
Saw this on the BBC today.

As long as it does not taste worse than chicken then I guess u are doing alright. I had Pad Krapow Nuu once on a trip back to the countryside to visit my ex girlfriend’s family. Was actually pretty tasty. They catch some big ass field rats but I saw them kill them by clubbing them in the head. No one is eating the head anyway. A little less humane I guess than the BBC describes it.
The animals are killed by drowning, before being skinned ready for cooking - poached, fried, grilled or baked.
I like the BBC but I always think they sensationalize things just a bit much. Seems a better article might have described where to get the meat or even a restaurant where one could order rat. My guess is there are not many at all and this is not as widespread as they portray it to be.

P.S. I think you have more or less covered all the places I have been now - so when I am back in a few weeks I shall try and seek out some new locations - all in the interests of this guide of course.
However, you might find your way to including the Paradis massage place near Sala Deang station sometime. Then I can advise readers what a shite, f*ck, crap, bollocks, turdy, wanky, rip off load of tat it is….. IMHO…

The doctorbond review is what makes Thailand the greatest place to live. The exact thing has never happened to me but I think anyone who has been here longer than 10 days has a similar story. I like the loss of 1 star and the reason.

Well, if you come out of Saladeng BTS on the opposite side of the road from the shopping centre and head in a patpong direction (but of course on the other side of the road - with me so far?) then it is about 50 yards from the station steps. A whopping big banner over it’s several stories and access to it is down some sort of ‘gay boy alley’ because apparently there is a gay club further down that alley and when I went in for a massage they asked me several times did i want a man or a lady - it seems most of their clientel have limper wrists than me.
You can’t really miss the place - although I will be recommending that you do

Had some nuu over the Christmas holidays in Phaisali. I was feasting on this “other red meat” until they told me what I was eating. Had one more bite before the visualization kicked in.
