When I moved into my new building I went to the guards first with beer and told them how I do things. Helluva nice guy, British as I recall. Said that Yakult was proven to be the most beneficial of all yogurts due to the large amounts of live bacteria in each bottle. Especially helpful for travelers like me to adjust to the "harmful" bacteria existing in the local food and drink. I drink it daily on every trip to Asia, and haven't had a stomach problem so far. I have no idea if Betagen was in the Consumer comparison. I'd give you the reference but this was 2 or 3 years ago and I don't remember where I read it exactly.
