Been too busy to party lately. If I am not partying then I don’t have as much to write about but that is just the ebb and flow of life in Thailand. It is not all a party and work beckons. Also, the life of running bars means that sometimes u hit some snags and work becomes more demanding than normal. So that means a reduction in nightlife activities. P4 continues as well. Chaos reigns eternal but Friday night I got the chance to catch up with some mates, drop in on Cowboy and lurk a bit after-hours.
We did not get going until 10:30 pm so that means we headed straight to Suzie Wong’s. No better way to start the night in my opinion. Sure enough - we cruise on to the 5 girl lesbian show. It just kills me. I think I will never tire of it but if I do, somebody shoot me. What really kills me is when one of the girls while in the process of licking one of the other girls will start to play with herself just to keep herself busy. Hips grinding and squirming on the floor waiting her turn to be licked. It takes 2 drinks for me to make it through this ordeal.
As of Friday night the Shadow Bar is still not open. I think they may have soft-opened Saturday night but not sure. Word is it will be a pub with lots of draft beer but not sure if it will have any dancers or be a beer bar. It will be interesting to see how a pub goes over on Cowboy.
Popped into midnight bar and the lineup was small but almost nude. The music was pumping so we thought we would get a drink. Soon as we got our drinks we had buyer’s remorse. They started a one girl show, with the ladyboy, that was so boring. Then the mostly fat lineup started and we downed our drinks and headed out. Basically the place sucks. Seems to be a theme for this owner. Drink prices in all his bars seems to be 130 now for a standard drink. Ouch.
Spice Girls is closed and the finishing touches on the outside are just about done. Pretty confident it will look like all of his other bars. So original. All the girls from Spice have been deported to Our Place so they can get used to their new bar layout and overabundance of lights.
Popped into Shark bar for a bit but it was too full to get a seat. Good for them. Nothing major to report but a nice lineup of hotties, decent tunes and plenty of barfineable girls. Shark is reliable these days.
Then headed for Dollhouse. Plenty of topless and underwear-less girls. In one glance u are guaranteed to see some of the best breasts on Cowboy.
Then we headed for De Ja Vu to see if we could find some girls we had met at Spicy. Sure enough we did. We bought the sisters some drinks and made possible, but not probable plans for later. Pay a barfine? Please. The third one of their group is now working at Happy in Pattaya and has an amazing pair of knockers. De Ja Vu is not great but is better than Midnite or Our Place.
We dropped into Rawhide to see the B team doing a show with full nudity. Then the normal lineup and then the A team doing a show. Lots of nudity, decently priced drinks and a fun time. Rawhide should be on everyone’s list. We had thought about popping into Long Gun but there was no where to sit.
It was getting close to 2 so we decided to head out and see how Spice is doing. I am not a big fan of Spice but I had not been in a while and we did not want to venture far from lower Suk. The place was rammed. Girls everywhere. I was pretty buzzed so I cannot even tell u how the music was since I was focused on looking for fresh faces in the freelancer sea. I saw plenty but the 21 year old from Bangkok who works as an office receptionist who only wanted cab money in the morning got my top pick. Best boobs I have seen in a long time. Life is good.

So bizarre. They store their money in pipes and informants are paid in pipes. So this is how the cops make some extra cash - they get 5% of any haul? Seems fishy. I wonder if there are cases of cops turning in other cops knowing they may get a piece of it all? Ahhh - to know what really goes in with the Thai police.

Was the same atmosphere in spicy the next day, loads of new girls. But maybe a bit more professional. Saw a group of girls from a well known G-club, very available.
I really hope the bangkok freelancer scene continues to grow, cheaper more exciting and way more fun than the gogo scene.
Those days i go to gogos only for the shows, hit the bars for drinking, pick my good-girls in malls and freelancers in discos.

Dropped into Five Star last night at 10 pm. A dozen girls dancing nude. I know five star has a reputation for being filled with ropey old slappers, but every time I see the nude show I realize that it just ain’t true. They have plenty of cute girls and a few truly lovely ones in addition to the dozen or so grandmothers who work there.
Five Star has always run a nude show at midnite, but I was surprised to see it running at 10 pm as well.
As soon as the ’show’ ended 5 fat girls hit the stage in bikinis — one of them looked to be about 4 months pregnant. Five Star’s version of the C team.
Soi Cowboy is leading the way in restoring nude dancing to it’s rightful place in the Bangkok scene.

The freelancer scene is why in my opinion the whole red light scene will keep shrinking.
U should write something up about mall pulling. I have never been able to pull it off well. What is the trick?

I went to the bar that calls itself coyote on Soi 4 once too and saw only two ladyboys dancing on a table, u-turned back outside and never went back.
I did Soprano and Santika on Friday night. Soprano had a lot more dancing and shows than the week before. Santika has really become the “I can speak English and I want a farang boyfriend” hub of Bangkok. Nick Nolte could find a freebie 1 night stand in there.

Orion: Strange - I also did Sopranos and Santika Friday night. And can second the Santika recommendation. Very crowded, and you have to be forceful with the staff to get the spot you want (not the one they want to take you to) but great atmosphere, terrific bands and tons of hotties.

I can’t pick up that link for some reason OnNutter but I can only imagine it is the ‘pig & whistle’ video, which if it is I can say I have actually seen some sights that bad in ‘the toon’ and even walked into that bar in error once.
That said there are some reasonable lasses up here as well (at least when they’re not speaking) and its actually easier to get a short time in a Newcastle Nightclub than in it is in a Bangkok one (although the half a larger and kebab you have to buy her probably makes it more expensive).

I can second that Cookoo, Stayed up there for 3 years and was a lot of fun. Some dam hot birds up there. Acutally they have about the same amount of clothes on and the same tatoos as the bargirls.

I thought American women could be disgusting but they now look a lot better. Not as good as those Thai angels tho…
The really bad thing is - I’m going to the UK in a week for a vacation - I guess I’ll be hitting the Thai escorts. Because I’m certainly not pulling anything from the bar(n)s.
