   these clubs rock. went to florence (out on srinakarin).
   . we hung out in the karaoke rooms after ogling the dancers. much more hanky panky goes on in the private rooms. i walked back from the bathroom and was met with a 'do not disturb sign'. one of my buddies had two girls wrapped around him. one with her lips wrapped around him and the other dipping her pups in his mouth.

   Are you sure the membership fee is for the year?  My friends and I have purchased (split) the membership fee it was for the 6 or 7 bottles of whiskey and once the booze was finished we had to buy a new membership card entitling us to more. Maybe each place is different?

   @bkk22: That's what I was told. I don't know what happens if your booze runs out before the 12 months are up though. Did this happen at Forte?

   Same story at ALL the G-clubs, once your booze runs out, you need to buy a new membership. But you do have a year to drink the booze you got in your membership deal!

   @bbb: check out florence if u have a chance. the girls are pretty hot but its a bit of a trek. its out on srinakarin road. drive towards seacon square direction. once u pass the modernform tower on your left take a u-turn under the bridge. Sign for jarinthip massage out front. But memberships from the coyote part and the private karaoke rooms upstairs aren't transferrable. so u have to choose one or the other. but u can invite dancers from downstairs into the upstairs rooms.

   @Mochalover: Thanks, that's pretty vital information. Like I said, this was my first trip to Forte, and my first trip to a Bangkok "gentleman's club". I think the newbie angle is a good one, but more knowledge from you guys is always a good thing.

   @leroy: Good info, thanks. Definitely on my list to check out, but can I wander in freely as a non-member? I'm not about to join every club in Bangkok, unless you guys want to organise a whip-round…

   @BBB: no problem to wander in off the streets.  1st time there we drunk a couple bottles so it made more sense to just get a membership which i think range from 10,000 to 20,000 and also include free rooms if you go for the karaoke package.
   the downstairs is more chill and the dancers a lot hotter than the hostesses.

    A few facts (as per last year and given by a hostess I used to date for a while):
    Membership THB 20,000 (50 beers, can be exchanged for other liquor etc, 10% discount on ladydrinks, foods and drinks for guests, mixers free).
    Salary: THB 15,000 (hostess) THB 12,000 dancers
    (This sounds strange but the dancers get far more drinks than the hostesses which are usually 'fed' within a time limit or can drink from the customer's bottle).
    Commission on drinks: THB 100 per drink.
    Barfine (for those who go with customers): 10 drinks (A ladydrink standard price is THB 320).
    Entry fee for non members varies between THB 500-800. If you're good in bluffing, tell them you know 'Bee' the public relation girl.

    most definitely.  hey, some of the random tart photos BBB has selected are really cute.  but i dont see them on soi cowboy.  it takes some legwork to find girls like that, even in thailand.

    Not to be disagreeable, but I reckon if you can't find random-tart-quality girls at Cowboy you just ain't looking hard enough.  Last week I saw half a dozen in an hour, with the best one dancing at the Dollhouse.

    All this talk of barfining go-go girls and gogofining bargirls - why is there so little serious discussion devoted here to the noble practice of cutting out the middleman and buying direct from the street? There are some pretty cute girls out there at the Nana carpark and the Mile of Smiles, and you don't have to buy drinks and pay barfines, so you're saving, what, a grand or so already - the cost of some short-time takeaway from the street corner. True, you risk being stabbed in the neck with a nailfile and having your deodorant stolen, but that seems a small price to pay. I've had as good a time with street girls as I have with Leggy Stunnas from Cowboy, if I'm honest. And some of my finest moments have been with girls I wouldn't have squinted through my fingers at in Rainbow 4. Of course, a Lonely Planet-style guide to street hookers would require updating every hour or so ("Quick! She's on the footbridge!") but it's an area that doesn't get the coverage it should. Plus, there's the thrill you get on the street that you don't get being harried for "another Tiger!" or ignored by some piece of Yen-spoilt pole candy at Long Gun.

    Yeah, I take my share from the miracle mile.  I live near Soi Cowboy, so I leave Nana at closing time, peruse the talent along the way, get worried about the time I'm passing Robinsons, U-turn and grab the most appealing piece of flesh I've seen along the way.  Probably accounts for about 20% of all my adventures, and about 40% of my best experiences.  No barfine and typically between 500 and 1,000 baht for a good time.

    My latest sexual encounter was with a girl who works at the outdoor bar on the corner of Suk & Asok roads.  After cowboy closed at 3 am on Friday night/Sat morning, I went to continue my drinking.  By 4 am a girl who was slightly chunky (but cute enough at 4 am) agreed to wander the few blocks to my house.  She was enthusiastic and I popped her twice before sun up… lots of fun.  I paid her what seemed to be a fair price for the circumstances and she surprised me by suggesting that I owed her 2,000 baht! (there was a 500 baht barfine from the outdoor bar). Holy Street Meat Batman!  We settled at 1,100 which was everything I had in my wallet and she went home.  Great sex, but ambitious monetary goals.
    Sometimes I grab freelancers from the Miracle Mile based just on attitude or style.  The most memorable was a 20-year old who was about 160cm and probably 60 kilos but had a punk haircut, commando pants and a bandanna around her head, with mocha coloured skin and Angelina Jolie lips.  She would have looked greusome wearing a bikini in a gogo bar but her street package was funky and fun, as was the sex in the bedroom.  I've grabbed a few 30+ year olds at 4 or 5 am who turned out to be huge fun in the bed and great value when it comes to saying 'thank you' with your wallet.  I reckon the late night street pickups are well worth the effort & the risk.  Just keep the door open while you're in the shower and send them home before you go to sleep!

    Oh yeah. The Fun Factor is a big plus. I once picked up a chubby 4 am Farm Girl on soi 11, and we finished up making barnyard noises and laughing ourselves silly while on the job. No, she'd never even make the C Team, but she was more fun than something else that is a lot of fun that I can't think of for the moment.

    Tonight I took a waitress from Dollhouse.   She offered to come to my place after work, but I have to be at work early in the morning so I paid the full 700 baht barfine cause she was very cute and friendly.  I took her home for about an hour and got good service. 

    At the end, when it was time to settle up she was demanding 2,000 baht.

    This is the second time this has happened to me in a week.  Please tell me… has the price of a short time with tier-C girls gone up or do I simply look like a soft touch?  Yeah, maybe I expect it from a looker at Rainbow 4, but street bars and waitresses… 2,000 baht?!  Am I being cheap or are the girls tying to get over on me????

    during songkran i met some stunner (well……….. use this term loosely) up khaosan and after an allday session i met her at night and ended up taking her back to the 'pleasure dome' and wiped the floor with her - i woke up to find that the stunner had a face only a mother could love and teeth like those comedy 1s you can buy online….. i actually felt ashamed - anyway next thing she wrote on a piece of paper she wanted 3000BAHT!!!!! What the fuck? this horse who i wouldnt nail if you paid me sober wants topend rainbow money? after 30minutes of her chewing my ear off i gave her 500baht to fuck off!
    just makes me laugh how these bottom feeders can expect top end money
