The FARANG Speaks 2 Much (tfs2m)

Had another friend in town so needed to make the rounds. First off let me say the new Tokyo Joe’s is a nice spot. I am not a big live music fan - mostly because the music is usually too loud and u can’t hear yourself think. I enjoy going to a concert but sitting in small bars getting my eardrums pounded is not exactly my idea of a good time. The new Tokyo venue is pretty slick, the menu is decent and I like that u can take the conversation to the second floor but still enjoy decent service and music. I will be back. The night I was in a Thai blues band, with a singer that sounded like one of the Neville Brothers, was playing some seriously cool music. Thais are artsy people and I think they make and play some great music. Nice bunch of guys as well.

King’s Castle in Patpong is a fun joint to take Bkk newbies. U get a mix of ladyboys and regular girls all in one shot. Problem is some of the ladyboys are just downright messed up in the head. My friend was basically frightened of this one mangirl and asked me if I could ask her to leave him alone. I politely, in Thai, asked “her” to leave because my friend was shy and just wanted to look. She left. got angry, called me a bad name in Thai and tried to throw a shoe at us. Management was unfazed. Brilliant.

We checked in at Safari for a good throwback and all were pleasantly enjoying the ambiance, the girls and the old tunes. There were more girls in there than last trip so that was cool.

We exited Patpong and headed to Nana. We checked in on Rainbow 4 just to ogle the sheer number of girls and my friend just could not get over the lineup. Then we checked out Hollywood Carousel to see if the shows were on. We missed them but the lineup was good and a few service girls coupled with a go go girl made for a great game of show me the tits and we give u money. After that we stopped in at Playskool and it was well - not too good. Hardly any girls, no excitement on the stage and just a dull atmosphere in the air. Bummer. Usually it is better. One drink and out. We needed to see nakedness.

On to cowboy. One drink in Long Gun to see some nudity and some shows. My out of town friends thought it was too raw. We moved on to Baccarat and had a few. We sat downstairs to get a better view of the bald tacos upstairs while enjoying the dancing downstairs. We invited over a leggy cutey to have some drinks and chat. She was quite cool. Baccarat was a nice place to close the night.

Yet another night. Doing a NEP check. People needed to know how things were going. I hit Hollywood first to check in on this door girl that I saw the last trip. She is gorgeous, tall and had a different look. I had my favorite service girl go fetch her to offer her a drink. She came over and accepted the drink. She sat with me for a bit and then out of the blue asked if I was going to barfine her. I said not right now. She thanked me for the drink and left. I hate that. Apart from that I would say the shows and the lineup are pretty good right now in Hollywood.

After Hollywood I went to Gspot. It sucked. Hardly any A talent, some gorillas in the mist, and the all too pushy mamasans outnumbered the dancers. Oh well. One and out. Thank u crown group.

Off to Mercury. It can be hit or miss here but it was hit. Lots of talent, decent music and a bunch of girls with no underwear peekaboo. Bought a ladydrink for one cutie who came over, pulled down her top, pulled up her skirt and let me play doctor. Best ladydrink money one can spend. Will have to go back and check it out. Fun place.

Voodoo. Earlier in the night it was packed with a few hotties. One girl that I had met the other night in Disco Tech - more on that later - was putting on a nice show. I bought a ladydrink and once again got to play doctor. This time with a tall girl from Buriram with huge - well u know - tits. To be clear. However later in the night the return trip to Voodoo was completely different. No go go girls but every single service girl u don’t want to see on the stage was on the stage dancing. It was nothing short of horrible but what took the cake was the wanna be ladyboy male service guy dirty pole dancing. One drink and gone. Hard to believe it was the same bar. Sucks.

Pretty lady. No underwear and dirty but still not at its peak. Good for a drink though.

FYI - down in Patpong. Thigh bar had some talent but what is nice is that 60 baht happy hour. Not just beers folks but vodka cokes and such. What a deal. The talent is not the greatest but not half bad.

The new after hours joint above foodland on Soi 5 is going. Not a huge crowd yet but due to the location a lot of Nana go go girls looking for a late night pull. Seems to be staying open to at least 4 or so. Shows promise. The place is called Disco Tech. So original.

Another strange thing to bring up. Anyone else notice the girls working the street during the day on Suk soi 1 thru 3? They seem to hang by the bus stops or outside shopping places. They did the ole - hi, how are you - in a way that no stranger ever does. I answered back in Thai that I was fine but they did not understand me. So I chatted them up and found out they were from the Philippines and looking for some action. They were not that cute so I did not even further the research since in my opinion Thai girls are hotter. To be clear - hot girls from the Philippines are doable but these girls were not. Wonder what the deal is? Some hotel lounge backup singers looking for some extra shopping cash?
