So I’d heard Pretty Lady had re-opened, and since I was due to hit Nana Plaza anyway, it seemed a good time to check it out.
Firstly, the good news. Everything seems to have carried on precisely as it was left - the mirrored bar is still there, the panties are still notably absent, and the girls are probably the friendliest in Nana Plaza.
On the flip side, the service staff are still inexplicably male, and the bar’s only been open for three days - and it shows. They just don’t have enough girls working here yet. Only one of the two stages was in use, and the girls danced in two shifts of six dancers - at the start of the night, anyway. By the end, there were only two or three girls left on stage.
Still, after only three days, this bar’s only say another ten cute new hires away from challenging Angelwitch as the best place for sanuk in Nana Plaza. And in these times of steadily-increasing drink prices, the ฿120 beers and ฿90 lady-drinks were a real breath of fresh air.
I haven’t had the opportunity to visit Pretty Lady recently, but I’m certainly very happy to hear that it’s open again!
It has always been a fun place with pretty girls not only going about their business, but doing it with esprit!
